This photo was taken on a semi-recent car trip, when we stopped for a break. This sign, alone in a barren, flat field, caught my attention. I’d say I took well over twenty photos trying to find out which layout worked the best.
I expected this little seagull to fly away the moment I approached it, but, much to my surprise, it stayed right where it was. It’s interest in me meant that I had a slightly harder time getting the photo I was searching for, but in the end it went to look out over the ocean…
This picture was taken in Fremantle, just after I’d arrived back from Rottnest Island. I didn’t have a tripod so there was a little bit of shaking and blurriness, but apart from that minor issue, I’m very happy with how it turned out.
This picture was taken on a trip down to a more southern section of Western Australia. I spent most of this particular excursion taking photographs of the sea, and it was only near the end that I turned my focus inwards onto the jutted rock I had been taking these pictures from!
